About the role
- Automated aviation systems will enable a future where air transportation is safer, more convenient and fundamentally transformative to the way goods - and eventually people - move around the planet.
- This role is on-site in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests
- Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns
- Drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure, processes, and practices
- Experience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable printed circuit board assemblies using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICE
- This role provides an opportunity to own a wide variety of testing that is essential in verifying the safe and reliable operation of the next generation of avionics for unmanned aircraft systems.
- This role also has the potential to lead into a leadership role in a player/coach capacity.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and processes for hardware verification
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.

Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is $188,000 to $250,000/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits.
