About the role

  • In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams - including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance - to ensure that all products meet or exceed our high standards before they reach the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for new product development, ensuring thorough validation and verification of product designs.
  • Participate in the NPI testing process for new designs, ensuring that all products meet quality, performance, and safety standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for product test failures and non-conformance issues, working with teams to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
  • Support increased product sales by effectively designing test protocols for new products and product changes.
  • Develop automated systems for collecting and saving data to enable more accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to define test requirements, ensure alignment, and drive process improvements.
  • Your contributions will drive the testing strategy and ensure the seamless execution of NPI testing procedures, identifying potential risks and improving testing efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product test engineering or validation.
  • Familiarity with the NPI process and hands-on experience with product testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with other team members and supporting multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product testing such as UL, CE, and RoHS.
