About the role
- We're looking for a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER - TRAVELING to join our dynamic team working across the USA and internationally.
- You will plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
- You will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and completion.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful project completion.
- Preparing daily logs, project technical design submittals, necessary reports, and documenting inspection and testing results.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, which may involve walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to stand and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed two hours consecutively.
- Ability to print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters, and symbols that are legible and understood by others.
- Ability to learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once trained.
- Quick thinking and decision-making ability to address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards on the construction site.
Nice to have
- BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar degree.
- Experience with Procore or similar management software is a plus.
- TAKT planning experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with clients.
- Technical and application knowledge of the built environment infrastructure, including buildings and infrastructure.
- Must have experience in the construction industry.
- Understanding of project estimating and scheduling techniques.
Compensation
- Salary Range is $109K - $142K Depending on Experience
