About the role

  • We're looking for a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER - TRAVELING to join our dynamic team working across the USA and internationally.
  • You will plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • You will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and completion.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful project completion.
  • Preparing daily logs, project technical design submittals, necessary reports, and documenting inspection and testing results.

Requirements

  • Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, which may involve walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to stand and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed two hours consecutively.
  • Ability to print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters, and symbols that are legible and understood by others.
  • Ability to learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once trained.
  • Quick thinking and decision-making ability to address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards on the construction site.

Nice to have

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar degree.
  • Experience with Procore or similar management software is a plus.
  • TAKT planning experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with clients.
  • Technical and application knowledge of the built environment infrastructure, including buildings and infrastructure.
  • Must have experience in the construction industry.
  • Understanding of project estimating and scheduling techniques.

Compensation

  • Salary Range is $109K - $142K Depending on Experience
