About the role
- This position will be primary coverage of the consult pager during daytime and occasional weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
- In this role, the Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work as an Orthopedic Surgical Consult APP to support the Orthopedic Oncology Surgical Service.
- You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and be a driving force behind patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses with ability to treat pediatric patients
- Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- BLS certification/ACLS certification
- Related National NP certification
Nice to have
- E xperience in inpatient surgery, surgical consult management, perioperative care, and/or orthopedics is preferred
- Experience in inpatient surgery, surgical consult management, perioperative care, and/or orthopedics is preferred

- Hours: 12 hour per diem shifts flexed as needed.
- Weekday (6a-6p), weekend (day shifts), and holiday coverage
- Reports to: Manager, APP
- Pay Rate: $88/hr.
