About the role
- Responsible for supporting the organization's governance, risk, and compliance efforts with a focus on healthcare regulations and patient data protection.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with IT, compliance, and system departments to identify risks, implement controls, and maintain a strong security and compliance posture.
- Partners with leadership to ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of enterprise information technology experience required
- Minimum of one (1) year of information security, IT audit, or GRC experience required
- Relevant cybersecurity, compliance, or risk manager certification (such as CISSP, HCISPP, CISA, CRISC, Security+) required or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire required.
- Experience with GRC platforms and leading incident response.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
