  • Job Description: WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS SkinHealth Systems' analytics function runs on Power BI - and the Sr Business Intelligence Engineer is the technical leader who sets the standard for how it's built, governed, and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor BI developers, establishing architectural and coding standards and conducting design and code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Implement structured development workflows using Power BI Projects (PBIP) and Git-based version control
  • Manage the BI development backlog and priorities
  • Lead structured requirement gathering and solution design processes
  • produce and maintain clear technical and functional documentation that supports scalability, audit readiness, and knowledge transfer.
  • manage BI-related incidents, requests, and changes through structured tracking systems.
  • Develop KPI frameworks that improve service performance and customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Implement structured development workflows using Power BI Projects (PBIP) and Git-based version control; embed documentation and governance practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Lead structured requirement gathering and solution design processes; produce and maintain clear technical and functional documentation that supports scalability, audit readiness, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Standard mobility required for team collaboration, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of enterprise BI experience.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or other enterprise cloud data platforms.
  • Experience implementing Power BI Projects (PBIP) and using Git-based version control systems.
  • Experience working within formal IT service management environments.
  • Experience managing development backlogs and providing delivery status reporting.
  • Experience leading or mentoring BI developers.
  • Experience modernizing or scaling BI functions within a growing organization.

Compensation

  • $121,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
  • An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
  • Other rewards may include annual bonuses, long-term incentives based on level, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
