About the role

- Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Wrapper for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX.
- The Production Wrapper is responsible for the final preparation of finished goods for warehouse storage and shipping, ensuring proper wrapping, labeling, and quality control of products while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain T-CART's and conveyor lines for continuous slitting operations
- Create and apply finished goods labels and file job jackets for Finishing Department
- Perform regular equipment maintenance checks, including battery inspections and hoist mo nitoring
- Maintain department cleanliness through 5S Standards and cleaning checklists
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Drug screening required
- Background check required
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues (Associates in Written or higher stage of counseling are not eligible to apply)
- Knowledge of w arehouse safety procedures
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts and mobile equipment safely, including completing required safety checks
Nice to have
- Experien c e in manufacturing environment a plus
Skills
- Stand-up forklift experience required
- Basic computer proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mathematical skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand production schedules
- Mathematical skills for inventory counting
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Understanding of safety protocols
