About the role
- We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our passionate team.
- As a Software Engineer 2 at Venteur, you will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of our products and applications, directly impacting the lives of thousands of individuals who rely on Venteur for their health insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end experiences for the Venteur platform, focusing on usability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical, operational, and business requirements for our platform.
- You will collaborate directly with our CEO and other members of our Engineering, Product, Finance, Growth, and Customer teams in-person at our office near San Francisco's Financial District.
- We believe this will lead to better outcomes for all individuals.
Requirements
- Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience building impactful products at scale.
- You have a background in fintech, payments architecture, or accounting principles, having navigated financial regulatory requirements while delivering technological solutions.
- You possess solid ML fundamentals and demonstrable experience with generative AI models.
Skills
- Both front-end and back-end experience coupled with anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally.
- Commitment to high-quality code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation, and has appropriate production observability.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and knowledge of data structures, OOP, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
