About the role

This position ensures the protection of personnel, property, and restricted areas by maintaining situational awareness and following established security procedures.
Monitor intrusion detection systems, access‑control alarms, duress alarms, and CCTV feeds to identify unauthorized activity or security incidents.
Dispatch security personnel or notify designated authorities in response to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activity.

Acknowledge, assess, and document alarm activations in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and activity records for all alarms, communications, and security‑related events.
Support emergency response procedures, including coordination with security forces, first responders, and facility leadership.
Maintain awareness of facility security postures, access restrictions, and operational changes that impact monitoring duties.

A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS A high school diploma or high school equivalent certificate.
