About the role

Responsibilities

  • Backend Logic Support: Assist in developing and updating enterprise-level Java services (EJB) to support automation workflows.
  • You will work closely with senior developers to maintain enterprise services, optimize data processing, and ensure a seamless connection between our backend systems and our management console.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • An interest in Telecommunications Networking concepts is a plus.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred).

  • Modern Java Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Java 17+ through coursework or personal projects.
  • Core Backend Concepts: Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and basic database interactions.
  • Web Frameworks: Familiarity with Java-based web frameworks is a plus.
  • Frontend Basics: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Development Tools: Exposure to version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with Maven or Docker is a significant plus.
  • Telecom Interest: An interest in Telecommunications Networking concepts is a plus.
  • Learning Objectives: Gain experience navigating and contributing to a large, existing enterprise codebase.
  • Master professional development workflows, including code reviews, dependency management, and containerized development.
  • Exposure to version control systems like Git.
