About the role
- This position serves Hurricane, La Verkin, Toquerville, Hildale, Colorado City, Kanab, and surrounding communities.
- The successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable about Independent Living philosophy, disability rights, consumer choice, and self-determination.
- This position works closely with staff in the St.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Independent Living Plans (ILPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely service documentation
- Support consumers in accessing community resources
- Build relationships with community partners and referral sources
- Develop partnerships throughout Hurricane Valley, Hildale, Colorado City, and Kanab
- Collaborate with Youth Independent Living Specialists based in St.
- Work with the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (USOR) and other partners regarding long-term assistive technology assessments
Requirements
- Ability to work independently while remaining closely connected with a team
- Ability to travel throughout the service area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities

Compensation
- $35k-$40k
