About the role
- A Newport Beach litigation firm is seeking a motivated entry-level litigation attorney to join its growing team.
- The firm represents individuals in complex medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases and offers an excellent opportunity for a new attorney to gain hands-on litigation experience.
- This role provides exposure to all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Nice to have
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Assist with discovery, depositions, and case strategy
- Assist in preparation for mediations, hearings, and trial
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the California State Bar (or pending admission)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced litigation environment Preferred
