About the role
- The Facilities Department here at ETSU is seeking to fill a vacant position.
- Responsibilities include performing a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and masonry, as well as other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Candidates must be available to work various shifts and schedules, with overtime required as needed.
- Employees may also be required to report to work during emergency closures or inclement weather, including performing essential duties such as snow removal, to ensure the continued operation and safety of facilities.
- Knowledge of methods, materials, and procedures used in general repair and maintenance work
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and applicable safety precautions
- Ability to follow instructions, assess situations, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in the proper use and conservation of materials
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments efficiently
