About the role
- Complies with all established standards and practices.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care and evaluation of patients.
- Initiate and implement interventions based on protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times according to policy and procedure and HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
- Provides ongoing care and accurate required documentation in EPIC
Nice to have
- 1+ years experience in Pediatrics, Emergency Department or Urgent Care preferred

- Advanced EMT or Paramedic in the state of Wisconsin OR Medical Assistant Certification
- Must be able to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with patients, family, public, and other health care workers.

- American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council, CMA-Certified Medical Assistant
- American Association of Medical Assistants, EMT-Emergency Medical Technician National
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, LP-Licensed Paramedic National
