About the role
- The position would require approximately 20 hours per week during the term and full-time during summer and winter break.
- We anticipate offering a 12 month assistantship position which may continue for additional years.
- Academic advising is mandatory for students majoring in engineering.
Requirements
- Must be a registered graduate student in good standing enrolled in a degree program at the University of Maryland and must be making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
- Graduate Assistant I is for master's students.
- ENGR-Mechanical Engineering
Nice to have
- Graphic arts and social media skills are a plus (experience creating attractive flyers, posters, brochures, etc.).
- The successful candidate will possess energy, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to work.
- An ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong customer service skills is desired.
- Database and word processing skills are required.
Compensation
- $26,568 - $27,608
