Manager, Software Development for S3 Request Processing, you will be responsible for leading a group of top talent that builds the software handling every S3 request at massive scale.
Your organization owns the request processing platform, the business logic that implements S3's API surface, and the security controls that keep customer data safe.
We build innovative software solutions to provide S3 customers secure, durable, available, and performant request handling with virtually infinite scale and extremely low cost.
In this role you will drive the roadmap, deliver new functionality and architectures, and raise the bar for operational excellence.
You'll lead multiple engineering teams to spearhead new technologies that change what is possible within S3.
It requires an ability to prioritize work for the direct team and partner teams, establish goals, and focus attention on the most important inputs to drive the desired business outcomes.
You'll need to excel at hiring and developing your technical talent.

10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
This leader must be capable of scaling themselves and their team to meet the ever-increasing demands of a fast-growing business.
