Responsibilities
- Assists in the design, planning, and coordination of experiments in support of various research projects.
- Uses and computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis and technical evaluation of research experiments and results.
- maintains financial accounts related to research projects.
- Assists in preparing and writing proposals to funding agencies; maintains financial accounts related to research projects.
- The Research Assistant provides skilled, administrative, and technical support in research.
- Collaborates with other research personnel.
Requirements
- May travel as required.
- Required Licenses and Certifications:
Nice to have
- The laboratory uses electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture and mouse behavioral models.
- Any experience in these is preferable.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Skills
- Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment.
- Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position.
- Attention to detail.
Compensation
- 12-15 days of annual paid holidays
