About the role
- Provide real-time guidance to technologists as needed, assisting with complex cases and ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient safety imaging
- Ensure accurate documentation, order verification, and case tracking within systems such as EPIC and PACS
- Oversee quality assurance, equipment readiness, and compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and regulatory standards within the OR
Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead technologist on shift, coordinating OR imaging workflow, case prioritization, and timely support of surgical teams
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or completion of a Certified Vocational Training program in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive radiologic technology experience
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved organization (e.g., American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

- Attention to detail with a focus on imaging quality, safety, and compliance
- Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

- Proficiency with radiology systems (PACS, EPIC) and workflow management
