About the role
- Specializing in practical, tailored solutions for complex challenges, AH brings deep expertise across drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, petroleum storage tank, and geospatial services.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, storage systems, pipelines, and related utility improvements.
- Manage projects through design and provide support during bidding and construction phases.
- Support the coordination with clients, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance for municipal water and wastewater projects.
- Proven ability to prepare plans, specifications, engineering reports, and design calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong experience with municipal water and wastewater systems design.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
