Responsibilities

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Participates as team members to operate and manage assembly to meet the safety, quality, cost and delivery goals and acts as an active member of the team and takes on team representative role responsibilities.
  • Performs rework, scrap transactions, external rework transactions, identifies and controls materials that are nonconforming.
  • Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all the support teams.
  • Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas.
  • Communicate effectively by delivering clear, accurate information and adapting your communication style to meet the needs of team members, support teams, and leadership.
  • Drive results by consistently meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals, even when working under pressure or changing priorities.

Requirements

  • Knows and complies with departmental, site, and company policies and procedures including the proper wear and use of required personal protective equipment.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Nice to have

  • Minimal relevant experience required.
  • Six months work experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to work with heights
  • Must be able to pass physical for breathable air equipment
  • Must be willing to work evening shift with overtime
