Responsibilities

  • Manage field crew in day-to-day production of projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Webber supports a wide range of project models to meet client needs, including traditional design bid build, design build, alternative delivery models and public private partnership (P3) solutions.
  • Webber also has an in-house engineering services department to help optimize building efficiency and quality while solving complex project challenges using field experience, innovative construction methods and BIM technology.
  • Manage and assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience managing dirt crews on highway projects
  • Demonstrated experience in utility work supervision to include gravity sewer, sewer force main, storm drain and waterline (NNWW preferably)
  • Valid driver license for occasional, required travel
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects
  • Safety Policies and Practices: The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company's safety policies and procedures as described in the company's safety manual.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 0-3 years of related construction experience preferred.

  • Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Physical Activity Level: Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
  • Able to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
