About the role
- A successful candidate will actively seek and generate new and innovative ways to retrieve, visualize, and analyze data across a variety of operational, geologic and financial data sources.
- Understands the data models of Continental's primary data sources including Aries, WellView, SiteView, ProCount, Planning Analytics, eGIS, WLM, S&P Global, and Enverus.
- Detail oriented with ability to retrieve, organize, and synthesize large amounts of data to generate high-quality, executive-level quality presentations in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Performs data capture processes as necessary to support analytics efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience within the oil and gas industry working as a Data Analyst, Engineering Tech, Engineering Specialist, Business Analyst, or related role.
- Advanced experience in Aries or other Economic Evaluation software with thorough understanding of economic engine, data streams, data models.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Science/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related degree.
- Advanced coding skills in R or Python

- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
