About the role
- Join the USBA Account Services team, also known as the New Account Application Team, supporting U.S. Bank's investment and brokerage operations.
- This team plays a critical role in opening and maintaining investment accounts, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and processed efficiently.
- As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing investment account requests, performing quality control on documentation, and maintaining account information within brokerage systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control checks on new account and maintenance requests.
- Manage and prioritize work from assigned processing queues.
- Support a variety of account types, including brokerage accounts, IRAs, and Roth IRAs.
- Working closely with internal field representatives and investment advisors, you'll help support a seamless client onboarding and account maintenance experience behind the scenes.
Requirements
- Experience in financial services, banking, investments, brokerage operations, or a related industry.
- Experience processing documentation or conducting quality reviews in an operations environment.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the computer applications used in the assigned area
- Ability to operate various types of office equipment
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.
