About the role
- Role Purpose: This role is responsible for managing global coordination and optimization of capital planning, budget development, cash flow forecasting, and controls for Capital Projects at Gartner.

Responsibilities
- Perform variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted capital spend and proactively identify trends, cost overruns, and savings opportunities
- Create dashboards and reports (e.g., in Power BI) to provide visibility into capital spend, project status, and key performance indicators
- Assist in developing and maintaining multi-year capital plans in partnership with IT, Real Estate, FP&A, and regional stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years working experience in Real Estate/Finance/Accounting/Business
- Strong working knowledge of financial planning, negotiating with vendors, and Accounting
Skills
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources; ability to synthesize insights
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), and familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, FCCS) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and analytical skills

- Consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders to support the development of the annual capital budget and long-range plan
