About the role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to operate at a principal level of scope and impact on the core systems behind our healthcare SaaS platform.
This role focuses on designing and evolving backend services and data infrastructure that process sensitive healthcare data at scale.

Work closely with other engineers, as well as product owners and designers, to deliver new features and resolve bugs
Develop standards-based APIs and services (REST, FHIR, HL7)
A desire to raise the technical bar through design, mentorship, and example
You will work on foundational systems - not isolated features and contribute to long-term architectural decisions that shape how the platform grows, performs, and remains reliable over time.
Partner closely with product, data, and security teams to solve real operational problems

7+ years of professional software development experience
Meaningful experience owning and operating production systems
Significant production experience with one or more of the following: React, PHP/Zend, Ruby/Rails
Experience That's Helpful (But Not Required)
Experience working in HIPAA or HITRUST regulated environments
Security-conscious engineering experience
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

The work involves cloud-native, data-intensive services in regulated environments.
