About the role
- This includes overseeing network administration, systems management, hardware management and deployment, cybersecurity, and collaborating with other departments to align IT initiatives with the company's overall objectives.
- The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of business needs.
- This is a 6-month contract role with potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent position contingent on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day activities of the IT Ops team to ensure timely resolutions of technical issues
- Maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation for team processes
- Manage and provide oversight on hardware and software management
- Support IT incident and problem management
- Support in implementing a strategic long-term IT roadmap and strategy
- Support in the optimisation of IT Costs
- Support in the IT Supplier management of NA
- Own hardware lifecycle in NA
- Support in maintaining network infrastructure in the NA region
Requirements
- 2+ years of previous experience in an IT role
- Extensive knowledge of Google Workspace, JIRA, and Confluence
- Extensive knowledge of SAAS tooling and management
- Extensive experience with Windows, Mac and Linux hardware based devices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
Compensation
- An annual base salary between $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience and qualifications
- Opportunity to work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year
