About the role
- You will work onsite in a manufacturing environment to ensure equipment, production areas, and facility spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet safety, quality, and food safety standards.
- This position follows a 4-day work week, including weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Weekend shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts, with start times between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. One additional 12-hour shift is worked during the week.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will support sanitation and basic janitorial operations at our Louisville, Kentucky facility.
- Remove waste, dispose of materials correctly, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation

Nice to have
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and facility surfaces
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning
- Follow sanitation procedures, safety guidelines such as Lock Out Tag Out, and regulatory standards
- Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred
- Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment
Skills
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment
