About the role

  • The RF Engineer will also work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, embedded systems, and project management to ensure the end product meets all specifications inclusively.
  • Designing and analyzing RF systems, including antennas, transmission lines, and microwave circuits.
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as embedded and mechanical engineers, to ensure that RF systems are integrated and aligned with overall product goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in PCBA design concepts
  • Providing technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in RF technology, and incorporating these into the design and operation of RF systems.
  • Ability to design, analyze, and optimize RF systems for optimal performance.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and design tools, such as MATLAB, HFSS, and ADS.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the willingness to learn and incorporate new technologies and processes into the design and operation of RF systems.
  • The RF Engineer will assist in the development of wireless products including developing requirements, circuit design, simulation, test plan development and execution, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a degree in electrical or computer engineer
  • Must be currently enrolled at a Junior, Senior, or Graduate level
  • Should have a general interest in RF and Wireless product development

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of radio frequency theory and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with RF equipment and systems, such as antennas, transmission lines, and microwave circuits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex RF issues.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunication regulations, standards, and best practices.
