Magic: The Gathering is the world's premier trading card game, bringing together millions of players through tabletop play, digital experiences, and world-class events.

Lead the content calendar and publishing roadmap for Play content across Magic.gg and supporting channels.
Develop and publish content that highlights players, communities, events, and play experiences across Magic's competitive and in-store play programs.
Partner with event, tournament operations, and communications to support content before, during, and after live events.
Manage freelance writers and other external contributors.
Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver engaging player-facing content.
Life & Family Support

4+ years of experience in content management, editorial, journalism, digital content production creative development, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Magic: The Gathering, including organized play, community play experiences, and the broader player community.

Experience with live events, gaming, esports, entertainment, or community-focused programs is a plus.

The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions.

$105,600 - $158,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package, depending on role, location, and eligibility. Benefits and programs may include:
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 8-10 times per year and usually on weekends.
