About the role

  • Facility Optimization Solutions (FOS) is a subsidiary of CannonDesign.
  • We're constantly growing, and that's where this new opportunity comes in for a Mechanical Assessor.
  • This includes identifying deficiencies of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, cooling towers, chillers, and boilers and providing written narratives of the description, critical issue, and recommendations to remediate

Responsibilities

  • FOS began with a good idea - seeing the need to help facility managers identify what they own, the condition of their facility, and how best to use this data for future capital planning.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Determine condition, remaining useful life, required costs, and remedial measures
  • A minimum of 4 years' of related experience required.
  • Experience with mechanical systems to perform a comprehensive evaluation of HVAC, plumbing, and other building equipment
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD is required
  • Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Tablets and Mobile device tools preferred
  • Must be physically able to walk the stated areas each day, climb fixed and sometimes extension ladders, walk on roof surfaces up to a 3/12 slope.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $63,400 to $79,200 annually.
  • This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting.
  • We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position.
