About the role

- The Manager of Desktop Engineering is a hands-on technical position, responsible for the delivery, reliability, and ongoing improvement of the firm's end user computing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain engineering standards for builds, configurations, deployments, scripting, and documentation
- Drive improvements in efficiency and quality through automation and tooling (e.g., PowerShell, Intune capabilities)
- Partner with Information Security to implement and sustain:
- Support internal, regulatory, and audit requirements related to endpoint environments
- End User Support to improve supportability and reduce recurring issues
- Training and Knowledge teams to support documentation and user readiness
- Support structured testing and pilot programs for platform changes and upgrades
Requirements
- Strong experience with enterprise end user computing and desktop engineering platforms
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Seven or more years of experience in desktop engineering, endpoint management, or end user computing roles in an enterprise environment
- Experience supporting OS upgrades, security initiatives, and platform modernization efforts
Nice to have
- Prior responsibility for platform or service ownership strongly preferred
- Relevant technical certifications preferred but not required
- Project management skills and experience coordinating technical workstreams a plus
