About the role

  • Summary Manufactures and installs aircraft wire harness assemblies and components using a variety of engineering data, tools and equipment in a timely and efficient fashion while ensuring quality standards are attained.

Responsibilities

  • Performs wire marking, cutting and labeling duties.
  • Performs testing and verification of final product.
  • Designs and builds shop aids.
  • Properly maintains shop tools and equipment.
  • Maintains a neat, organized work area and helps with the general daily housekeeping of the department.
  • Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

Requirements

  • Additional tools may be required.
  • The minimum required tools must be obtained within 6 months after initial employment.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced craftsman, and performs tasks as required for daily operation and long-term department goals.
  • Wears safety equipment as required and complies with safety guidelines and procedures.
