About the role
- Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on processing equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, and other machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
- Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in a mining, processing, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems and equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for programming and documentation.
- Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00.
