About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of complex, loosely scoped problems without guidance
- Write well-tested code and pipeline designs without guidance
- make confident technical decisions and validate assumptions with stakeholders where needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, ML engineering, or a related field
- relevant advanced degrees contribute to required years of experience.
- Track record of independent delivery with evidence of enabling less experienced teammates.

- MS a plus.

- BA/BS required (quantitative or engineering discipline preferred)
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- writes clean, well-tested code without guidance and provides guidance to others.
- Solid experience with data pipeline development and ML workflows (feature pipelines, model inputs, data preparation)
- growing MLOps proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (Databricks preferred
- AWS or Azure broadly).
- Independently learns and evaluates new technologies
