About the role
- Our product operates in a heavily regulated space, including healthcare, so precision, accessibility, and consistency aren't optional - they're core to the work.

Responsibilities
- Treat the design system like a product - own its components, patterns, and usage guidelines, and keep it evolving.
- Design and maintain reusable UI primitives and interaction patterns that hold up across multiple teams and use cases.
- Build coded prototypes (using mock or synthetic data) for complex, data-heavy or AI-driven workflows.
- Work alongside Design and Product early in discovery to catch feasibility issues before they become rework.
- UX Engineer - Design Systems & Frontend
- This role lives within Engineering but works at the intersection of Design, Product, and Frontend Engineering.
- You'll make sure design intent actually makes it into production - by building and maintaining the reusable components, primitives, and interaction patterns that teams rely on every day.
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering skills - React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storybook - with a track record of shipping real production UI.
- Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools to move faster.
- Hands-on experience building or scaling design systems and component libraries.
- A sharp eye for interaction design, usability, accessibility, and visual polish.
- Bonus: experience building products in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance, or similar), where compliance and data sensitivity shape design decisions.
