About the role

  • You'll work closely with senior engineers and DevOps teams in an Agile environment, contributing to systems that are secure, distributed, and performance-driven.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer looking to deepen expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and distributed systems while working on mission-critical applications.
  • Work with SQL Server/MySQL for data modeling, queries, and optimization

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain.NET (C#) applications, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices
  • Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver features end-to-end (design → deployment)
  • Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and DevOps best practices
  • Securiport is hiring a Software Engineer (3-5 years experience) to build scalable, high-impact systems supporting global border security and threat detection.
  • In this role, you'll develop C#/.NET backend services, APIs, and microservices that power real-time data processing and analytics platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with C# and.NET
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Familiarity with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to event-driven systems / message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ)
