About the role

  • As as Vice President of Technical Architecture, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the technical foundation of the FICO Platform.
  • This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on architecture leader who combines deep platform architecture expertise with a strong bias for execution, working in close partnership with our engineering organization to bring architectural vision to life.
  • As a senior architecture leader, you'll bridge the critical gap between architectural strategy and engineering execution, ensuring our platform architecture evolves in a way that is practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop architects and senior engineers, building a strong community of practice around technical excellence and elevating architectural thinking across the organization.

  • Lead platform modernization initiatives including cloud-native transformation, API strategy, and microservices evolution, while identifying and resolving technical debt that impacts platform scalability and performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Cloud Operations, and Security teams to ensure architectural decisions support product roadmaps, infrastructure capabilities, and compliance requirements.
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and API design, with strong hands-on background in AWS cloud services and containerization technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation

  • $210,000 to $330,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
