Responsibilities
- Provide support for a broad range of accounting and financial reporting activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reports, commission validations, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and department procedure documentation.
- Perform a variety of accounting, analytical, and special project assignments as requested.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners across departments to establish trust and credibility. Demonstrate strong listening and analytical skills and confidently recommend process improvements and solutions when appropriate.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across departments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Nice to have
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurately reconciled and current.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize financial information, including account activity, variances, and trends, to provide meaningful insights to management.
- Proactively communicate issues and recommendations as needed.
- Demonstrate strong listening and analytical skills and confidently recommend process improvements and solutions when appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of accounting controls, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $62K - $72K.
