About the role

  • In the role of Research Manager, North America you will play a pivotal role in executing research essential to Viking's growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, a keen analytical mind, and a proven track record in conducting thorough and impactful research.
  • This is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Developing reports that clearly communicate the findings.
  • Manage and maintain one continuously-running survey, with programming, troubleshooting and reporting as needed
  • From time-to-time, this individual will lead recruitment and incentive fulfilment efforts for qualitative projects, including pulling sample list, sending invitation emails, setting up groups in Discuss.io platform, ensuring respondents successfully complete their technical check in a timely fashion, downloading group recordings and transcripts, and handling incentive fulfilment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years' experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing projects and research vendors, with experience proactively identifying both problems and solutions
  • Considerable experience with PowerPoint and excel required
  • Experience Qualtrics or another similar programming platform required
  • Experience with SPSS is beneficial, but not required

  • Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

  • Salary range $130,000-$150,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
