About the role
- Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics, Production & Materials Supervisor to join Ashland, Inc., Life Sciences business at our Wilmington, Aquarius film coating manufacturing plant.
- This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the logistics function.
- This position will report to the Plant Manager.
Requirements
- Processes reclasses required for special requests.
- Two (2) years of logistics experience in manufacturing facility.
- Proven DOT experience exemplifying safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible movement of chemicals manufactured.
- Proven SAP or similar database experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills along with the ability to clearly communicate and relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Associate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or similar discipline with two (2) or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
