About the role
- Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Mechanical Service Person will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.
Responsibilities
- Build up line production benches, set up feed rails, airlines, leadtec terminals.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Maintain adequate parts, supplies and equipment for the production and maintenance departments
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
- Support any growth projects lead by the Special Projects Manager
- Building trades' certificate, or equivalent, considered an asset
Requirements
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Help moving WIP if required.
- Must be able to use power tools
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
