About the role
- The role is a permanent on-site position.
- This posting is for an existing position vacancy.
- Additionally, in this position you will: The candidate will have primarily electrical and some mechanical experience in an underground environment.
Responsibilities
- This includes management of detailed engineering design, procurement, (Safety, Scope, Schedule, Quality, Cost), systems, construction support and management services for individual Projects.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in engineering, however, candidates with a Technical or trades discipline will be considered.
- The ideal candidate should be a certified P.M.P (Project Management Professional).
- The incumbent will assist in the requisitioning of parts & services associated with the Project, and if required to create work orders, operations and manage the Schedule associated with Project and Shutdown work.
Nice to have
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in an underground role is required.
- The ideal candidate will have preferred knowledge and understanding of VPS Technical, project management principles and strategies and strong project management skills.
- Front line supervisory capability and experience is preferred but not required.
