Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and goals, and developing data-driven recommendations to meet those needs
  • As someone who will help build our U.S. office, we need a consultant who's naturally curious, independent, team-oriented, and eager to learn.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance
  • 1-2 years of full-time work experience, ideally in one or more of the following areas: consulting, data/analytics, marketing, advertising, finance, or tech.
  • ability to represent Artefact in a client-facing capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse team members
  • demonstrated ability to mentor more junior members of the team
  • Knowledge of strategy consulting and/or digital marketing (within a start-up, agency, etc.) is highly desirable, but not required

  • The estimated base compensation for this role is $85,000 - $95,000.

  • Our Opportunity
  • As a junior data consultant you will help make data-driven decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Work with clients to understand their business needs and goals, and use data analysis techniques to identify trends and patterns that can inform decision-making and strategy. Our most successful consultants quickly gain additional responsibilities.
  • Collecting and organizing data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and web-based tools
  • Cleaning and preparing data for analysis, including correcting errors and formatting data for use in statistical software
  • Analyzing data using statistical techniques and tools, such as Excel, SQL, and R or Python
  • Interpreting and presenting data insights to clients in clear, easy-to-understand language
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and tools.
