About the role

  • The role also oversees housekeeping, safety, sanitation, security, and food safety standards throughout the facility.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing, evaluating, and training production supervisors, overseeing designated shift operations, and performing other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with hourly team members, supervisors, upper management, and government officials.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subordinate supervisors and plant team members in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Candidates should maintain excellent safety and attendance records and be able to work collaboratively with department heads to achieve safety, production, quality, and yield goals.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice to have

  • Five or more years of related industry experience and five or more years of supervisory experience in a meat processing facility required.
  • Poultry processing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • college degree preferred.

  • Standard computer proficiency.
