Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for cross collaboration and problem solving utilizing mathematical and technological capabilities.
- The candidate should have the desire and ability to understand the underlying mechanics and processes associated with an Annuity and similar products throughout their life cycle.
- 4+ years of application development, configuration, or systems experience within insurance, financial services, or relevant experience.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, code development, documentation, analysis, and workflow efficiency while applying sound judgment to validate AI-generated outputs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with policy administration systems (ALIP preferred), SQL/database queries, and one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, SQL, XML, or Visual Basic.
