About the role

  • We're looking for a business-minded attorney to join our Legal team as Product Counsel who will report to the Director - Legal Product & Strategy.
  • You'll handle day-to-day product counselling by providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice throughout the product-development lifecycle, helping teams navigate complex issues while moving quickly and thoughtfully.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks, and training materials that empower teams to make informed decisions.
  • Partner with commercial, privacy, security, compliance, and corporate legal colleagues to address cross-functional legal issues and drive alignment.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
  • Deliver high-quality legal analysis, attention to detail, and execution across a broad range of product counseling matters.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while balancing competing priorities and business objectives to drive results.

Requirements

  • This role will require strong legal judgment, sound business instincts, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving technical environment.

Skills

  • Ironclad, Salesforce, Jira, Notion, Slack, among others.

  • J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies.
  • Creative mindset and an ability to find solutions where others see barriers.
  • Experience using AI tools (such as Claude or similar) to enhance legal workflow efficiency.

Compensation

  • $203,901 - $254,876 USD
