About the role
- About Interface.ai interface.ai is redefining how financial institutions serve their members through agentic AI and conversational AI - and we're doing it in production, at scale, with real outcomes. $30M in Series A funding.
- You'll work directly with Bruce Kim (CTO / Co-Founder), who sets the technical bar and goes deep on the hardest problems, and Srinivas Njay (CEO), who is hands-on daily across product and engineering.

Responsibilities
- Build and run privacy / AI compliance program (GDPR, CCPA, FTC).
- Prepare board consents, maintain cap‑table and support financings.
- Manage outside counsel on IP, litigation and insurance claims.
- 🤖 Claude Enterprise + frontier AI tools for every employee - build with the best
- The team is small enough that your judgment shapes everything, and the market is large enough that what you build will matter for a long time.
Requirements
- 8-15 years combined law‑firm and in‑house experience with a proven record as a 'department of one'.
- Deep expertise in SaaS commercial contracts, employment law, data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and corporate governance.
- Comfort leveraging generative‑AI tools and prompt engineering to scale legal processes.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage prompt engineering and generative-AI tools (e.g., contract-clause extraction, automated redlining, rapid case-law research) to accelerate legal workflows and reduce turnaround time.
- JD or LL.B.; active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Business‑first communicator who can translate legal complexity into clear, actionable guidance.
Nice to have
- Hands‑on experience managing outside counsel and cross‑border issues (U.S./India preferred).
