Responsibilities

  • Our Cardiovascular team develops leading solutions for heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke.
  • The Manager, GME Technical Operations leads and manages the team and activities of the Equipment Engineering and CAD services group and will assure support to the entire business in these areas.
  • They will be responsible for assuring manufacturing fixtures are designed and built properly to meet the needs of Production, as well as new product development.
  • Additionally, they will establish and maintain best practices for all aspects of CAD, including CAD systems and files/drawing standards.
  • Last, they will be responsible for building and maintaining the team of people who execute this work, as well as their performance management and professional development.
  • Overall, this role provides end-to-end technical and engineering services, including prototype fabrication, tooling development, fixture manufacturing, and support for engineering and production builds.
  • The Manager ensures rapid turnaround, high-quality execution, and effective emergency support for Manufacturing and NPI.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of technical operations, resources, and setting priorities within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written).
  • Bachelor's degree in technical Discipline, Masters preferred 2 years supervisory experience; Medical device experience preferred or other highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
  • Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
  • The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
  • $122,000 - $177,000.

Benefits

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year.
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year.
