About the role
- This role works with moderate supervision, contributes to test procedure refinement, and provides guidance to Test Specialist team members.
- The Test Technician brings a deeper technical skill set and growing independence to the testing team.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and support Test Specialist I team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, PCBA's, and system-level hardware to identify root causes and perform corrective actions.
- Document defects with detailed root cause observations in the defect tracking system.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, protocol analyzers, and power supplies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience documenting test results and defect reports with precision.
- Experience testing networking or telecommunications equipment.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts or scripting.
- Solid understanding of electronics, networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP), and signal integrity concepts.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to accurately document, track and maintain testing records.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Associate degree in electronics, computer networking, or a related technical field required. Bachelor degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- Bonus Skills
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD certification.
