About the role

Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for dispatching and resolving problems for our company drivers, contracted drivers, and/or carriers.

Maintain documentation of driver detention time to ensure accurate, on-time pay
Maintain the company safety culture to include daily safety messages and monthly driver briefings
Support other team members as needed
build and maintain a positive attitude to strengthen driver engagement to minimize turnover and improve driver satisfaction and productivity
Manage company equipment to improve operation efficiency and profitability through coordinating with fleet maintenance teams and previously assigned drivers to ensure vehicle readiness
Maintain the company safety culture to include daily safety messages and monthly driver briefings; help enforce company policies to ensure compliance with DOT and company requirements
Communicate in a professional, timely, and effective manner with internal and external drivers via phone calls and system messages; build and maintain a positive attitude to strengthen driver engagement to minimize turnover and improve driver satisfaction and productivity

High School Diploma/GED with up to 1 year of Transportation, Customer Service, or other relevant experience
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
Ability to meet or exceed driver needs to provide excellent service
Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
GED (Required), High School (Required)
